Learning Mindset Strategy

Learning how to be a learner is a skill that I am developing through the ADL program. The EDLD 5302 Learning Mindset course has given me the opportunity to assess myself, and my beliefs, as a learner. The following is a compilation of my work on learning throughout this course. Through the work below, you will gain insight into my understanding of the development of the growth mindset, my beliefs about learning, and my efforts in ensuring that I will continue to achieve growth in learning in the future. With the work below, I have gained knowledge that will allow me to effectively implement my innovation plan and any future goals that are presented.

Growth Mindset Plan

Growth begins with the acceptance and understanding that we are all learners. We should embrace forever being on a journey of development and change. In this plan, you will find the keys to the understanding of the what, why, and how behind a growth mindset and the power of "yet". Included are many resources and strategies on changing a fixed mindset to a developing and sustainable growth mindset.

Learning Manifesto

During 5302, I took time to delve into my foundational beliefs about learning to see what is behind my engagement with others and how I create significant learning environments. This manifesto is the result of that reflection. You will learn what I hold to be true for digital learning, data, educators, and COVA along with my plan on how to use that to create change within our organization.

Learning Networks Blog

Professional connections through networking are an integral part of any career. Seeking the expertise of others in your field is an important part of personal growth and learning. On the flip side, contributing to professional learning networks is just as vital. My learning networks blog shares my current networks of consumption and contribution. It includes a discussion of future plans for participation in networking opportunities.
